MN FCCLA receives grant from OJJDP
MN FCCLA has been awarded a grant from the Office of Juvenile Justice for a Youth Voice project.
This grant will help FCCLA to build the ability of youth leaders to communicate to reporters of radio, newspapers, TV and news networks, to build the confidence, skills and voice of youth leaders with state and federal policy makers (congressional, state and city mayors) with a confident voice, youth can access policy makers and media with their articulate “sparkle and enthusiasm” for the projects and work. The result will be an increased likelihood of significant positive media coverage of youth service-learning programs.
