Teens teaching teens to earn, save and spend money wisely.

The goal of Financial Fitness is to inform and inspire teens to sharpen their skills in money management, consumerism and financial planning. You and your teenage peers make and spend a tremendous amount of money. This program can help you use your money to get what you want and need. Teens who learn to handle their finances well now will become adults who manage their money to—build better lives for themselves and their families and to strengthen the U.S. economy.
  

Financial Fitness Project Areas
 
  • Banking Basics helping teens learn the basics of banking, credit, insurance and investments
  • Cash Control – helps teens learn to control their cash through budgeting, setting financial goal-setting, and financial planning
  • Making Money – helps teens make the most of the money they make by understanding taxes and explore running a business
  • Consumer Clout – helps teens become savvy shoppers and powerful purchasers through understanding consumer rights, understanding the influences of advertising, defining value and quality, etc.
  • Financing Your Future helps teens finance their future through exploring investments, figuring costs of living and budgeting for future expenses
